Online Secure Ordering
Rivers Secure Online Server offers a secure and efficient way of processing your personal details over the Internet utilising the latest in SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. Receipts for your purchase can be generated in a number of different forms. If you have an email account you can receive an HTML version, a Plain Text version or both versions of your receipt to your nominated account. To view examples of how they appear, visit our Receipt Formats page. If you do not have an email account, be sure to print out the Order Confirmation page and/or the final page of the purchase as your receipt.

Please note: When you Submit your order, you will be presented with an onscreen summary of your order & personal details. Once you select your preferred e-mail receipt format and submit your order to our secure server, you should receive confirmation of your order via your nominated e-mail address within 30 minutes. Fax/Mail Order
To order via fax or snail mail progress through the shopping pages as normal. When you view your shopping cart there are two different forms available to you:

1. The "Blank Order Form" is a blank form which you print out and fill in the order details yourself.

2. The "Printable Form" is similar to the SSL ordering process. However instead of sending your information over the Internet, your order and personal details will print out on a form ready for you to fax or post to the factory.

Once completed, your order is ready to be faxed to the Rivers Factory. In Australia dial (03) 5335 1206. Outside Australia dial +61 3 5335 1206 adding the international access prefix for your particular country. If you wish to mail your order via snail mail, you will need to post the form to the "Rivers Online Shop, PO Box 53, Sebastopol, 3356, Victoria, Australia"

Direct Telephone Order
If you would like to order your product via telephone, you can contact the Online Shop Direct. In Australia, dial (03) 5335 1234. Outside Australia dial +61 3 5335 1234 , adding the international access prefix for your particular country. The Opening Hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm (EST).

Payment Information
The Rivers Online store has a minimum purchase value of $20 (excluding any postage/shipping charges). Any transaction under $20 cannot be processed.

All payments are calculated in Australian Dollars and fall under the jurisdiction of the Victorian Government.

The Rivers online store only accepts Mastercard, Visa & Bankcard.
Note: When your order is placed, your card is not debited until we actually process your order. In some cases this can take up to 5 days.

Personal/Bank cheques are NOT accepted.

Rivers’ 30-Day Refund/Replacement Policy - Non-Faulty Goods
Rivers Online Shop & Mail Order Return and Exchange Policy
In respect of non-faulty goods, only unused or unworn goods may be returned for a refund or an exchange within 30 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons, we do not exchange underwear and swimwear except where required under the Trade Practices Act.
Please include your receipt as proof of purchase and your return address so that we can process the return correctly and quickly. Refunds are processed using the credit card provided for the original sale and the receipt will be posted to you.

Alternatively, orders may be returned to Clearance Stores only (these are located at Clearance Stores), provided that the original purchase docket (with rivers watermark) is presented, together with your eftpos receipt.

This refund/replacement policy does not in any way affect or override any rights that you may have under the Trade Practices Act 1974 or equivalent State or Territory legislation.

Faulty Goods
If for any reason your goods are faulty, our normal manufacturer's warranty applies, whereby Rivers will, in its sole discretion, either repair or replace those goods or refund the price that you have paid for those goods, regardless of the goods being worn or used. To take advantage of this policy, you will need to include your receipt as proof of purchase, and your return address.

Alternatively, orders may be returned to Clearance Stores only (these are located at Clearance Stores), provided that the original purchase docket (with rivers watermark) is presented, together with your eftpos receipt.

Australian and International Transactions: return unused or unworn goods by mail at your cost to:

Return of goods:
As soon as the goods are received by the factory they will be processed and returned to you immediately.
The exchange of Clearance goods will not incur a further postage fee of $6.00 within Australia and outside Australia other postal charges will apply. (In some countries the goods might attract duty and tariff charges, please check what applies in your country)

Shipping Costs
All orders incur a $6.00 postage fee when ordered within Australia. If you are ordering from outside of Australia you will pay shipping costs for all products sent (plus any charges added at the country of destination). Please consult the table at the Shipping Costs page for more detailed listings of the charges.

Delivery Time
Orders placed on the Rivers Online Store are delivered via Australia Post and take around 5 working days to be delivered within Australia. For overseas orders it takes around 14 days.

Refresh - Important!
It is important to stress the use of the Refresh Button / Icon whilst visiting our pages in the product sections and in any subsequent visits. With the turnover of product we have, sometimes the site is updated 3 or 4 times per week with the latest data and ongoing new clearance product. However quite a few ISP's are using proxy servers to cache web pages in order to speed up browsing for their clients, and your own browser may do the same. Thus many people who bookmark a particular page for example "Mens Long Sleeve Shirts" return to the page and pull up a "cached" version which is resident in their ISP's proxy server or their own computer. This "cached" version of the page can contain incorrect or obsolete information, so needs to be updated by hitting the "Refresh" button (or "Reload" button on Netscape browsers). This will save you the hassle of filling in an order and then being told that the product you ordered is out of stock.
