Rivers & Mandable Returns Policy

  • RIVERS EXTENDED CHRISTMAS REFUND POLICY

    At Rivers, we are happy to offer a refund or exchange on change of mind purchases. As we know it can be hard to find that perfect gift we’re extending the length of our policy for all purchases made through December.

    All Rivers refunds or exchanges on change of mind purchases are subject to the below conditions:

    1) Purchases made between 1st – 31st December 2017 are return by 31st January 2018

    2) The item is unworn and in its original condition with all the tags still attached

    3) The original sale receipt is presented

    4) Without an original sale receipt, an exchange or credit note may be offered to the value the item is currently being sold at

    5) If the product being returned was purchased as part of a multi-buy offer, (for example a ‘2 for’ or ‘spend and save’ deal) the refund will be calculated at the discounted price or as a percentage price calculated by Rivers and not the original full price.

    6) For hygiene reasons, we do not refund or exchange for change of mind purchases on swimwear, underwear, including bras, or pierced earrings.

    7) Where items are faulty you are welcome to choose between a refund (with proof of purchase), exchange or credit note.

    8) On any returned items, any Rivers Reward points earned in relation to these item(s) will be reversed. Further, any Rivers Reward points redeemed as part of the original order will be reissued as a credit note. For full member terms and conditions visit our website 


    STANDARD RETURNS POLICY

    Here at Rivers, we want you to love every purchase, but if for any reason it’s not quite right, then we’ll be happy to refund.

    All eligible returns require:
    - The products are returned within 30 days of the date shown on the tax invoice.
    - Products to be in the original condition as purchased with all labels/tickets attached.
    - Tax Invoice must be provided as proof of purchase.
    - Socks, underwear and swimwear will not be accepted for return or exchange unless assessed as faulty.
    - If one product is returned that was part of a deal such as '2 for 1' or 'Spend & Save', the product will be refunded at the discounted price or as the percentage price as calculated by Rivers which was paid and not the original full price.


    We reserve the right to assess the condition and age of all returned products. This may result in the products not being accepted for return, repair, refund, credit note or exchange.

Exchanges on Rivers Products

  • Exchanges on Rivers products may be made in store within 30 days from your date of purchase.

    Exchanges for Rivers products cannot be made via the online store.

    The only way to exchange a Rivers product is to visit us in store.

Mandable Returns & Exchanges

  • Mandable is sold online and at limited stores only.

    Returns can be made to any Rivers store or via post.

    You can view the list of stores that stock Mandable on our Store Finder page.

Afterpay Returns

  • AfterPay purchases can be returned to our head office online or to any Rivers store. Please note that Afterpay refunds cannot be given at One Woman Stores.

    You must include your original tax invoice and after pay email receipt and post back to the below online returns address by the Post office or ParcelPoint. You may also return your order instore.

    Refunds will be processed and communicated to the customer via Afterpay shortly after Rivers processes the returned item/s. The returned item/s will create an adjusted Afterpay payment schedule or a complete refund of payments to date (depending if all of the original order’s items are returned).

    Please note customers are responsible for the cost of postage for all returns, with the exception of faulty products.
    If your product is faulty, please contact our Customer Care team to arrange a return in this instance.

Returns by ParcelPoint

  • Rivers have teamed up with ParcelPoint to offer you easy, hassle free returns.

    Simply visit www.parcelpoint.com.au/rivers to find your nearest ParcelPoint location and book in your return.

    Once booked, ParcelPoint will email you a returns label to attach to your returns parcel.

    Then drop it off at your selected ParcelPoint location and they'll take care of the rest.

Return by Australia Post

Sales Items Returns Policy

  • Please note that sale items can be returned to Retail Stores for a refund if they are faulty, wrongly described, do not meet your desired fit expectations or do not do what they are supposed to do. Please check our Store Locator page to find your closest retail store.

In Store Returns Policy

  • This “Return of Goods Policy” is in addition to and does not modify your rights under the Competition & Consumer Act 2010 & equivalent State or Territory legislation but is in replacement for and hereby excludes all other statutory and common law rights that are able to be excluded.

    GENERAL INFORMATION:

    • Rivers will only accept return of product when the customer has a valid receipt and in certain circumstances.
    • With any product that you want to return, Rivers reserves the right to assess the condition and age of the goods. This may result in the goods not being accepted for return, repair, refund, credit note or exchange.
    • Subject to your statutory rights referred to above, socks, underwear and swimwear will not be accepted for return or exchange unless assessed as faulty.

    PRODUCT ASSERTED TO BE FAULTY

    Product asserted to be faulty should be returned to the Rivers Store at which it was purchased or any other Rivers store along with proof of purchase. Please note that only defects appearing within 6 months of the date of purchase are covered by Rivers defect warranty. It may then be sent to the Rivers factory for assessment of the alleged fault.

    If the factory assessment indicates that the product did not suffer a major failure, but is nevertheless of unacceptable quality, Rivers will either offer you an exchange for the same or similar product, a refund or credit note (depending on whether or not you have proof of purchase), or will attempt to repair the goods at its expense.

    If the factory assessment indicates that the product has suffered a major failure, Rivers will offer you a replacement product, credit note or refund (depending on whether or not you have proof of purchase).


    THE PRODUCT HAS SUFFERED A MAJOR FAILURE & YOU HAVE YOUR RECEIPT

    If assessed as having suffered a major failure and you have proof of purchase such as your Rivers receipt: we may offer you an exchange, credit note or refund at the $ value printed on the receipt.


    THE PRODUCT HAS SUFFERED A MAJORFAILURE BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR RECEIPT

    If assessed as having suffered a major failure and you do NOT have proof of purchase such as your Rivers receipt, we may offer you an exchange only for the same style or a credit note at our lowest selling price the product has been sold for at any point in time.


    NON FAULTY, NON PROMO PRODUCT, WITH RECEIPT and/or RIVERS CARD

    Within a max of 30 days of purchase we may allow, entirely at our discretion:

    • Exchanges, Credit Note or Refund
    • The product must be in its original condition i.e. unworn, unused, with all labels and tags attached as sold.

    NON FAULTY SALE/PROMO PRODUCT, WITH RECEIPT and/or RIVERS CARD

    Entirely at our discretion we may allow, entirely at our discretion:

    • Exchanges or Credit Notes (i.e. no refund)
    • The product must be in its original condition i.e. unworn, unused, with all labels and tags attached as sold.

    NON FAULTY NORMAL OR PROMO PRODUCT, NO RECEIPT and NO RIVERS CARD

    After asking for ID and receiving from you details which may include the following and more:

    • Your name, Address, Email address, Phone number, etc.
    • We may allow, entirely at our discretion: exchange for another size or colour of the same style. The product must be in its original condition i.e. unworn, unused, with all labels and tags attached as sold
    • No receipt will be issued
