| The foot length is
measured in millimetres from the back of the heel to the end of the furthest toe. See Fig.
1 above. The foot circumference is measured in millimetres around the circumference of the foot, ensuring that the tape is positioned around the ball of the foot which is generally the widest part. See Fig. 2 above. You will need someone to assist you in measuring your foot as the full weight of your body should be on your foot eg: you should stand up. Note: Do not pull the tape too tight when measuring. |

| Example No. 1 Fred has measured the length of his foot to be 269mm. Fred has measured the circumference of his foot to be 260mm. Therefore, Fred should order Rivers shoes of size 8½. Example No. 2 Therefore, Joe should order Rivers shoes of size 11. |
